Studio Tango Montréal is everything tango.
Not only top-quality classes, but workshops with guest artists, milongas (tango-dance evenings), and festivals for more than 20 years.
The ''Studio'' plays a key role in our local tango community, providing a magical place for weekly dance gatherings. Built with love and dedication, our unique spaces are warm and inviting, classy and vibrant. The Studio is home to multiple dance evenings each week. Known for a relaxed, yet super dynamic atmosphere, Studio Tango Montréal truly is a place where friendships form and everyone feels at home.

Our dance evenings and practices are organised by le Projet Tango, a local nonprofit dedicated to the development and promotion of the Argentine Tango.
Our practices!
Practices are not quite the same as milongas. Informal, less structured, more laid back. Work as hard as you like or just hang out and chat! We have practice times that are for all levels or geared towards certain groups. Refine new steps, get a few pointers from the teachers, and have fun!

The Supervised Practice:
STARTS BACK ON JANUARY 7th
SUNDAYS: 3 pm - 5:30 pm
Always a teacher on hand to help you out.
A great way to practice those steps you learned in class, and a nice way to meet other dancers from the school. All levels.

Performances & Concerts
A few times each year we organise milongas featuring live orchestras, dance performances with invited guest artists, mixed in with a couple of crazy-decorated nights to celebrate special occasions such as Valentine’s Day and New Year’s Eve. Known for our hospitality, and the superior quality of the experiences that we create, these special events are attended by dancers from all over!
The photo above was taken during a very magical performance given by world-class dancers Pablo Inza and Sofia Saborido during the 2019 Bailongo Festival. Held each year on the May long weekend, Bailongo is a 5-day tango extravaganza that features masterclasses with guest maestros from Europe and Argentina, and late-night dance-’til-you-drop milongas with North America’s best DJs. Cancelled due to the pandemic in 2020 and 2021, Bailongo was back for an amazing edition in 2023!
